| MQA Research is a public opinion research firm. Information provided to and gathered by MQA Research is used strictly for legitimate business purposes. Your responses to our research questionnaire are used solely for research purposes. Your information will not be reported on an individual basis without your express consent.
We understand our responsibility to protect the privacy of our clients and respondents and to adhere to industry standards and privacy practices. Our employees are trained to respect your privacy concerns and to protect your personal information.
Providing personal information is always voluntary. Any information obtained by MQA Research via postal mail, courier services, telephone, fax, email, Internet or in person will be used for the purpose for which it was collected. The data collected from you from surveys or other data are aggregated with other participants.
Your information will not be disclosed to unrelated third parties. At no time will we disclose or sell your personally identifiable information with any parties for the purpose of the sale or marketing of products and services.
We may share information about you, as required or permitted by law. We will share your information for the following reasons: to protect against fraud, to respond to a subpoena, to service your account or with your consent.
Our company website (www.mqaresearch.com) does not use “cookie” technology that allows us to customize the site for you. The cookie is a small text file that is saved on your computer to store your preferences or to help “store” the information you previously provided. Our website does not gather traffic patterns, site usage information or aggregated data in order to monitor your preferences and Internet habits.
Our Internet survey software also does not use cookies. For most of the surveys that we conduct, you are identified via a password. This password is linked to you personally, but we do not use the password to track you in any way on the Internet. The password is designed to allow you to partially finish a survey and then go back at some other time to complete the survey. The password is also used so that persons who are not invited to take a survey are not able to complete one.
When you participate in an online survey, you may choose to submit your name, address, phone number, email and other personal information to us. We usually will request demographic information. For example, we may ask for your age, gender or income. We also may ask general information from you, such as buying preferences in regards to a specific project. Also, when you submit questions to us, we will use your personal information to contact you about your inquiry or forward your inquiry to the appropriate party.
Files that we exchange with our clients are handled with industry standard encryption in order to secure and protect data. Industry standard technology does not apply to email transmissions. Non-encrypted email may be accessed and viewed by other Internet users without your knowledge and permission while in transit to us. Please contact us by postal mail, courier, telephone or fax rather than email if your communication includes personal and sensitive information. All personal information collected by us is stored offline in an internal database. We may merge your personal information obtained online with information from offline sources.
MQA Research may also provide links to other websites, not owned or controlled by MQA. We can not be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites. A link to a non-MQA website does not constitute or imply endorsement by MQA. We also cannot guarantee the quality or accuracy of the information on non-MQA websites.
The issue of legal accountability is on the forefront of the concerns of our research company. MQA Research adheres to numerous measures and regulations that protect information and data information in various industries or risk violating federal law. MQA Research conducts financial research, health care research and Internet research, among numerous others.
